Harry Maguire’s SHOCKING run of results for Man Utd and England

Harry Maguire is on a shocking run of form that has seen him go a staggering 10 games in which he has started without winning.
The latest result arrived on Monday evening for England when Maguire made a big mistake in conceding a penalty, which allowed Germany to take the lead at Wembley.

England fought back late on from two goals down to eventually earn a 3-3 draw as the Three Lions were relegated from their Nations League group which was won by Italy.

Maguire also started for England on Friday in Italy as Gareth Southgate’s men lost 1-0 at San Siro.
The 29-year-old has continued to start for England, despite being dropped by Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag.
It is easy to see why Ten Hag has taken him out of the team as Maguire can’t buy a win when he starts matches.
Maguire's 10-game winless streak
The 10-game winless streak dates back to the end of last season.
The last time Maguire won a match in which he started in was on April 16 – a 3-2 victory over soon-to-be relegated Norwich. That is five-and-a-half months ago.
After that, Man Utd were thumped 4-0 by Liverpool, and ended the 2021-22 season with a 1-0 defeat to Crystal Palace.
Maguire also started three of the four Nations League matches in June, a 1-0 defeat to Hungary and draws against Italy and Germany.
Into the 2022-23 season and Maguire started Man Utd’s first two matches, performing abysmally in the 2-1 home defeat by Brighton and 4-0 thumping at Brentford.
He was then dropped, culminating in an improved run of form by Man Utd, although he did start one Europe League match in September. And, yes, Man Utd lost 1-0 to Real Sociedad.
Finally, Maguire started the two aforementioned matches against Italy and Germany this past week in which England took just one point.
In total, in the last 10 matches that Maguire has started for Man Utd and England, he has won none, drawn three and lost seven.
No wonder the pressure is on Southgate to drop him for England.
