Christian Pulisic is reportedly close to the exit door at Chelsea, with clubs keeping an eye on his situation and hoping to make a move in the coming transfer windows.

The American has been unsettled with life at the Blues recently, having seen game time limited in recent months when Thomas Tuchel was still manager at the club.

He hasn’t started a match all season and is reportedly eyeing a move away to get his club career back on track after a stagnant year at Chelsea.

There was hope things would change for him under Graham Potter, and while it’s too early to judge what will happen, clubs are already identifying whether they can make a move for the player.

Pulisic linked to Premier League club

Juventus have maintained an interest in Pulisic for some time, and the player himself is keen to join having seen Weston McKennie – his international team-mate – do well there and get a good review.

However, the Turin club will face competition from a Premier League side in the form of Leeds United, who are building an American core of their own with manager Jesse Marsch and a few members from the national team.

Pulisic was linked to a few clubs in the summer including Manchester United and Newcastle United, but a move never happened and he continued his Chelsea stint.

Leeds have brought in players like Tyler Adams and Brenden Aaronson, building a strong American core and doing fairly well with it, which is what may appeal to Pulisic to make a move.

Chelsea still want a high fee for the player – reportedly around £31.5 million – and that may be a bit off putting for several clubs, including Leeds and Juventus.

The American has scored 25 goals and provided 19 assists in 123 appearances since joining the Blues from Borussia Dortmund in a £57 million deal three years ago.
