Matthew RyanCopenhagen£500k

Two goalkeepers at very high profile clubs in Chelsea and Inter are available for small fees.

Kepa Arrizabalaga may be best known for his calamitous displays in the 2019-20 season, but there is a decent goalkeeper in there so maybe you can be the manager to get him back to form.

Samir Handanovic, meanwhile, is a very competent goalkeeper but is available for cheap as a result of his age.

Altay Bayandir of Fenerbahce is a solid option if you want to go for someone less known.

Samuel Umtiti has been an important player for Inter for several years, but the experienced defender can picked up for just £12m.

Ridle Baku is one of the most competent right-backs in the game and can be purchased from Wolfsburg for £11m.

Towards the cheaper end of the scale, former Everton defender Ramiro Funes Mori of Cruz Azul is an interesting acquisition at centre-back, as is Hoffenheim right-back Pavel Kaderabek.

Former Liverpool striker Divock Origi is a bargain buy at £9.4m. He would surely hit doubles figures in the Premier League as a first-choice striker.

Joao Pedro of Fenerbahce has been one of the most underrated attackers for years in real life and more than capable of playing at a better level.

Towards the other end of the scale, Edison Flores is a superb buy at £1.6m, while Real Madrid and Wales legend Gareth Bale is also cheap.
