How much is Joao Felix’s release clause?
Joao Felix has been rumoured to be unsettled at Atletico Madrid and could seek a move away from the club at some point in the near future.
The Portuguese star has been unhappy with his lack of game time at the club and wants to be at a place where he can play football more regularly, and is reportedly angling for a move away from the club.
Coach Diego Simeone has previously said he wasn’t picking Joao Felix for his teams due to his contributions to the team and overall form, which has been inconsistent for the club.
Simeone has preferred other options instead, such as Antoine Griezmann or Alvaro Morata, leaving Joao Felix’s future at the club in doubt.
Joao Felix has big release clause
Manchester United are one of the clubs alerted to the situation and could be tempted to make a move for him in the near future as they look to solve their attacking issues.
They have needed to sign a new forward in recent times, given their own lack of depth and inconsistency in attack over the course of the season.
Marcus Rashford is their first-choice forward, with Anthony Martial struggling to maintain his fitness and Cristiano Ronaldo’s future at the club still unclear.

If any club wants to sign Joao Felix, they have to spend big, especially given that Atletico Madrid spent €126 million to bring him over from Benfica back in 2019.
His release clause is also very high – being at a steep €350 million – meaning that clubs will likely have to negotiate with Atletico Madrid if they want to sign the Portuguese star.
Joao Felix is still only 22-years-old and burst onto the scene as a teenager with Benfica, before moving to the Spanish capital, where things haven’t been quite as rosy for him.
Apart from Manchester United, other clubs such as Barcelona and Arsenal are also keeping tabs on his situation with a view to a possible move in the future.
