Leandro Trossard has refused to rule out speculation linking him with a move away from Brighton, with moves to Arsenal and Liverpool being touted after his fruitful start to the season.

The Belgian netted a hat-trick against Liverpool to take his goal tally to five for the season and he is out of contract next summer, with a host of Premier League sides circling.

Having never scored more than eight league goals in a season for Brighton, Trossard credited his form to his new role further up the pitch and admitted he does not know where his future lies.

“It’s difficult to say anything about that now,” Trossard told the Monday Night Club. “'It completely depends on which club would come. If I feel good and things are good on a private level.

“But I also know how good I am at Brighton, also with new coach Roberto De Zerbi it looks promising.”

“I’m a little higher up the pitch now, which gives me more chances to score a goal.

“And the more chances you get, the more you can score. I think that’s the biggest difference from the last few years.”

Which teams could sign Trossard?

A hard-working forward, Trossard has established himself as a key figure for Brighton as well as for his country and he is set to feature for Belgium at the upcoming World Cup.

Arsenal were believed to have had the strongest interest in Trossard over the summer but a move failed to materialise, although the Gunners could revive a cut-price move in January.

With Trossard featuring at a host of positions including central midfield and left wing-back, the 27-year-old’s versatility could see him considered an option by teams such as Liverpool, who have endured a variety of injury issues to key players this season.

A reunion with former manager Graham Potter at Chelsea could also be on the cards, although the Blues will certainly have competition for the former Genk man.

Brighton sit in fourth place in the Premier League and, should they continue their momentum under new manager De Zerbi, Trossard could even end up remaining with the Seagulls and renewing his deal.
