Darwin Nunez is the world's most entertaining footballer
The Most Electrifying Man in Sports Entertainment was the name of a nine-hour wrestling compilation released by the WWF back in 2008 starring the Rock.
Dwayne Johnson has gone on to become a Hollywood film star, and that nickname has been put into retirement. Until now. Finally a successor has been found.
Football is the best form of sports entertainment. It's the most popular sport in the world and creates online discussions and debates that politics can't even dream of. It evokes feelings like no other sport. But at its height, it's pure entertainment.

And there's nobody more entertaining in football in 2022 than Darwin Nunez. The Liverpool striker is the natural successor to the Rock as the Most Electrifying Man in Sports Entertainment.
Everything he does is must-watch. And must-watch live. Highlights clips cannot do him justice.
An agent of chaos on a football pitch, nobody knows what he will do next. Not his opponents, not his team-mates, probably not even Darwin himself.

Nobody else can score sensational goals and make terrible decisions in the same game. In the same passage of play, even.
Opposition fans have slated him for his poor decision making, bad first touch, and lack of technical ability.
Liverpool fans have pointed to his volume of shots, well-timed runs, phenomenal speed, and his per 90 minute stats.
2017➡️ "Virgil van Dijk is extremely overrated...Could have got Lewis Dunk"
2022➡️"Darwin Nunez is the worst summer transfer! He has a terrible first touch & not a great finisher!"@swearimnotpaul tempting fate again 🤭@menacesingh you agree?

The Reds definitely overpaid for him, especially when compared to Premier League top scorer Erling Haaland, and other contenders for the Golden Boot.
A player who could reach a fee of €100 million shouldn't need time to adapt or adjust to a new league. They shouldn't be a raw talent that needs polishing. They should be already formed.
But giving Nunez time is the worst thing you can do to him. In a game anyway. The longer he has to make a decision, the worst that decision is.
Nunez is pure instinct. The spectacular goals he scores he gets are when he doesn't have time to think. He just hits it. With all his phenomenal power.
Three-on-one situation which looks like a simple decision? Nah, he'll ruin that by picking the wrong option.
If Klopp removes that aspect from his game and makes him into a smarter player, he'll likely be a less entertaining one.
Darwin Nunez is like someone used the Create a Pro feature in FIFA, and used all their stat points to max out Pace, Shot Power, and Strength, and then had nothing left to spend on anything else. https://t.co/QRklORK3Ux

He might score more goals and get more assists, but it's the chaos the neutral fan wants.
Football is meant to be fun. That's why we all started playing it as kids. That's why we watched the superstars on television.
It needs to continue to be entertaining. A more polished Darwin Nunez just won't be as entertaining.
So enjoy this crazy chapter of the Darwin Nunez experience while you can.
