Liverpool join Arsenal and Man Utd in race for Tielemans
Liverpool are interested in making a move for Leicester City midfielder Youri Tielemans, with the Reds eager to bolster their midfield options in the coming windows.
Jurgen Klopp’s side are severely depleted in midfield, being troubled by injury issues and forced to use older names to help their cause, and they will have to invest in that area in coming windows.
They signed Arthur Melo on loan from Juventus on the final day of the transfer window, but he too is not in full fitness and will need more time to get up to speed in the Liverpool side.
Now, they are looking for solution as early as the January transfer window, and may make a move for Leicester’s Tielemans, who could come in on the cheap.
Liverpool join Tielemans race
Tielemans has been of interest to several top Premier League clubs in recent times having impressed for the Foxes since joining them, and Liverpool are the latest one.
Arsenal have long-maintained an interest in the player, and even considered a move in the summer transfer window but were priced out of it and prioritized other positions before the midfield.
Manchester United are also said to be keeping tabs on Tielemans’ contract situation and wish to add more depth to their team, hoping to support Christian Eriksen in midfield.
Youri Tielemans’ forward passing range is outstanding. Some of his passes don’t directly lead to assists like his role in the build-up to the 1st goal vs Brighton, but he can always be your passage into the final third.

Tielemans is in the final months of his contract at Leicester and the January transfer window will be their last chance to recoup any fee for the Belgian.
His price is set as low as £15 million, something that is appealing to many clubs and they could be tempted to make a move for him to drastically improve their options in January.
According to Calciomercato, Liverpool will launch an offer for him for that fee in January, although Leicester are expected to hold out for a bigger fee, however, they aren’t in a great bargaining position.
How this saga ends will be interesting to see as there is plenty of interest in him and there could possibly be a battle for his signature.
