The German star has been doing well for Borussia Dortmund as he’s been given more chances following the departure of Erling Haaland.

He has scored four goals in 17 appearances so far this season, including one against Bayern Munich, and that has got the attention of some of Europe’s top sides.

Now, after recent developments, Liverpool will feel they have the advantage in the race to sign Moukoko and a move to Anfield could be a real possibility.

Liverpool given boost in Moukoko race

The 17-year-old is going to have an agency managing his affairs when he turns 18 in November, and he has a deal in place with Unique Sports Management.

Unique Sports Management are a British sports management agency, and that has led to some to believe he may be convinced with a move to England in the near future.

Some other clients under the agency’s umbrella include emerging stars like Chelsea’s Reece James and Everton’s Anthony Gordon, and they have plans in place for Moukoko.

Liverpool have been weighing up a deal for Moukoko, who’s contract at Borussia Dortmund runs out at the end of the season and they are keen to make a move.

They are thin on attacking options at the minute and see Moukoko as the ideal player for the long-run, given their current options are ageing.

The Reds will face competition from La Liga giants: both Barcelona and Real Madrid are looking at a possible move for the talented youngster.

Where Moukoko ends up will be interesting to see as there is plenty of interest, while an extension of his deal with the Bundesliga club hasn’t been ruled out either.
