Man Utd and PSG £100m transfer target opens up over future
Lautaro Martinez has commented on rumours linking him with a move away from Inter Milan following his bright start to the season.
The Argentine striker netted twice as Inter rescued a late win over Fiorentina to take his tally this season to seven in all competitions, including four goals and two assists in his last three games.
The 25-year-old’s form has attracted the attention of Europe’s top sides, with Manchester United, Paris Saint-Germain and Bayern Munich all rumoured to be considering a move for Martinez which could cost more than £100 million.
MANCHESTER CALLING?: What Man Utd have to do to sign Martinez
However, despite the speculation, Martinez has insisted that he is keen to stay at Inter and is hoping to become a legend at the club he joined in 2018.
“I am doing well [at Inter] and I am happy. I hope to become a ‘bandiera’ in the future,” said the player to Italian broadcaster Rai Sport.
“I have a contract and I am only thinking about Inter. There are a lot of objectives upcoming and I hope to continue on this path,”

Martinez holding out for Racing return
Martinez extended his contract last year until 2026 and his agent Alejandro Camano recently confirmed the interest in the forward but claimed he was only focused on Inter.
“I wouldn’t be surprised [if Bayern's interest is serious] because, as I said, there are always requests. But today Lautaro has very clear ideas," he told TyC Sports in Argentina.
“He thinks about Inter and the World Cup. In the last transfer window there were chances to leave for impressive sums but he realised it was better not to change.
"He is in the top 10 players worldwide and although I have received many calls, he has two priorities by the end of the year: Inter and the national team.”
Martinez scored 27 goals for Argentine side Racing Club prior to joining Inter and he has admitted that it would ‘be a dream’ to eventually return to his boyhood side.
“It would be a dream for me to return there. I have many good memories on that pitch and of that people, who love me. I can’t say when, but I wish to go back to Argentina and play for them again some day.”
