Man Utd transfer target is ‘worth €120m - and price will increase!’
Manchester United target Sergej Milinkovic-Savic is not for sale, according to Lazio president Claudio Lotito.
''I’m not gonna sell Sergej, it’s not in my plans. I will offer him a new long term deal,'' Lotito told Italian outlet Il Messaggero.
''Milinković-Savić is worth €120m — and then every month the price increases.''
The Serbian international has been linked with a move to Old Trafford in every transfer window for the past few years, with the Man Utd boardroom clearly impressed by what he brings to the table.
But despite repeated interest in the Lazio midfielder, he has stayed put at the Serie A side since joining in 2015.
He enjoyed the most productive season of his career under Maurizio Sarri in 2021-22, scoring 11 goals and assisting a further 10 in 37 league appearances.
And the 27-year-old has registered three goals and seven assists in 11 Serie A games this campaign.
Man Utd's Milinkovic-Savic alternatives
''There are players like Youri Tielemans who Manchester United were interested in under Ralf Rangnick,'' CBS reporter Ben Jacobs wrote for FootballTransfers during the summer transfer window.
''Erik ten Hag really likes the player, available for £25 million at the lowest and £32m at the highest, and only one year left on his contract.
Masterclass performance. He was resilient.
Sergej Milinkovic-Savic is captain material and delivered a big game for Lazio. He scored a key goal to gain momentum and turn the tide.

''The problem there is that if Manchester United move, it might finally prompt Arsenal to enter into the race.
''United under Rangnick also looked at Ruben Neves, but Wolves don’t really want to lose the player.
''Someone like Fabian Ruiz could come into the mix as well.''
