Man Utd beware! Cody Gakpo will cost well over €30m
Cody Gakpo has been in the spotlight for much of this season having starred for PSV over the course of this campaign so far.
Despite a summer filled with speculation surrounding his future, Gakpo remained at PSV and has done exceptionally well, being one of Europe’s top goal contributors.
Gakpo has scored 13 goals and provided 16 assists across all 20 matches for PSV in all competitions this season, and that has only raised the interest in him.

There were reports last week that he could leave the club for as little as €30 million, but those stories may not be entirely true, and PSV could get a big fee for their man.
Gakpo will be expensive
Dutch publication De Telegraaf suggested he could leave for a relatively small fee due to PSV’s financial issues and their need to sell, but that may not be true.
Gakpo was linked to clubs like Manchester United and Arsenal in the summer and there was a suggestion that he could cost around €50 million, which seems reasonable considering his form.

He is only getting more and more expensive, not the other way round as often suggested recently, due to his impressive form and the fact he’ll be off to the World Cup soon.
Gakpo has been a regular for the Dutch national team under Louis van Gaal, and is expected to have a big role to play when they go to the World Cup in Qatar next month.

Over the summer, he revealed to The Times that he was in talks for a move to Manchester United, but that didn’t materialize: "I was close to leaving, I spoke to Erik ten Hag a few times at Manchester United.
“In the end the deal didn't go through, which was a shame, for me and my development, and because Manchester United is one of the biggest clubs in the world, but also for PSV, because to transfer a player to Manchester United is a good thing for the club."
Arsenal are also still open to a move, while others like Leeds United, Everton and Southampton are also keeping an eye on Gakpo’s development at PSV this season.
