Man Utd to "enter Bellingham race" amid Casemiro struggles
Manchester United are eager to improve their midfield options and are seriously considering entering the race for Borussia Dortmund’s Jude Bellingham in the next year.
The Red Devils are considering holding talks with the player’s representatives in the coming months with a view towards getting a deal done in 2023.
They will face stiff competition from rivals, with the likes of Liverpool, Manchester City and Real Madrid all interested in the English midfielder, as his transfer saga is set to dominate headlines next year.
Erik ten Hag’s side wish to improve their midfield, as they aren’t fully impressed by Casemiro yet, who only signed for the club from Real Madrid back in August.
Man Utd set to challenge for Bellingham
Casemiro is yet to start a Premier League game for the club, having mostly played in the Europa League and made appearances off the bench for Manchester United domestically.
He came off the bench in Manchester United’s 6-3 defeat at Manchester City, and so far in his time, he has seen struggling to adapt, although the club are being patient with him for the long run.
Despite signing for a fee of around £70 million, Scott McTominay has been preferred in his place and the Brazilian will have to fight to earn his place in the team.
Obviously very annoyed by the outcome of today’s game but what a special honour to captain this great club for the first time. No time to let our heads drop, many more chances to correct the mistakes of today in the next games. Heja BVB.🖤💛 pic.twitter.com/XQ5YSFx4pg

To help their midfield, they are now seriously considering entering the Bellingham race, and will have to pay a big fee if they hope to secure his signature in the coming months, according to Fabrizio Romano.
Manchester United were interested in Bellingham back in 2020 and even had him visit their training ground, but ended up losing him to Borussia Dortmund, and he has become a star there since.
It’s believed that nothing will be revealed with regards to Bellingham’s future as he is currently focusing on his season with Dortmund and wants to pay attention to the World Cup in Qatar with England.
