Manchester United are looking to improve their attacking line in coming transfer windows and have been given a boost in their hope of signing a Napoli star.

Manchester United are thin on options up front, with Marcus Rashfrod leading the line, while Anthony Martial is recovering from injury and Cristiano Ronaldo is eager to leave.

It looks likely that the Portuguese star will leave Old Trafford in the summer, and manager Erik ten Hag will be looking to replace him at the earliest possible opportunity.

They’ve now been given hope in the possible signing of Napoli’s Hirving Lozano, with the Mexican’s former agent suggesting he will leave Naples in next summer’s transfer window.

Man Utd interested in Lozano

His former agent, Alessandro Monfrecole, has said Lozano would like to play in the Premier League at some point and explained why Napoli would be open to selling.

“Next June, Lozano will leave in my opinion, also because he earns over €4m at Napoli,” Monfrecole told Gonfia la Rete.

“Although he is delighted to be here, he has never hidden that he aspired to the top English clubs. However, now he is probably realising that Napoli itself is a top club.

“He has never hidden that he loves Barcelona and Real Madrid, but unless Carlo Ancelotti falls in love with him again, he has no market.

“I think he could land in Manchester United or Everton. This does not exclude that other English teams could enter the negotiation. My personal prediction is that he will leave in June, but he is very happy here.”

Reports in England suggest Manchester United are closely monitoring Lozano’s situation at Napoli and that they could be tempted to make a move for him in the next transfer window.

Any such situation would also see Anthony Elanga depart as his opportunities would be limited due to competition, with Everton one interested club.
