And it appears that he is already on the lookout for a new club, with the 20-year-old training with Brentford’s reserve side in a bid to stay sharp.

A right-sided midfielder like his dad, Romeo featured for Inter Miami’s reserve side over the course of the last year, playing 20 times in MLS Next Pro, in which he supplied 10 assists and created a couple of goals.

Although he never turned out for the first team, which is managed by former Man Utd player Gary Neville, in a competitive match, he notably featured against Barcelona in a pre-season friendly.

Now he is back in England to weigh up his options for his next move.

Like brothers Brooklyn and Cruz, he was on the books of Arsenal as a youngster, although it appears unlikely that he will hit such heights in his career.

Indeed, when he was released by Arsenal in 2014, he had indicated that he did not want to continue playing professional football and instead flirted with tennis and also modelling.

What are Brooklyn and Cruz Beckham doing now?

Brooklyn Beckham was on the books of LA Galaxy and PSG as a youngster but after he was released by Arsenal in 2015, he has shown no public inclination to pick up his footballing career.

Meanwhile, Cruz Beckham similarly trained with Arsenal but appears to be the brother with the least desire to play football.

David Beckham, meanwhile, is a co-owner of Inter Miami, who have made it to the MLS playoffs in part thanks to an in-form Gonzalo Higuain.
