Chelsea and Juventus consider crazy swap deal
Mason Mount’s future at Chelsea is up in the air with his contract negotiations not going as planned and he could be on the move soon.
Mount has had a stellar rise at Chelsea in recent years going all the way from their academy to their first team and has had a successful career trophy-wise as well.
However, despite that, he is one of their under-paid players and wants a contract that reflects his contributions to the team.

In recent times, he has been linked with a move away from Chelsea, with Liverpool and Juventus linked to him and a move to the Italian side could result in a beneficial deal being made.
Chelsea and Juventus could be involved in swap
Liverpool and Juventus have been monitoring his situation recently and are eyeing up a move in 2023 on a low-price deal, a year before his contract expires in 2024.
According to Calciomercato, Chelsea have been targeting Federico Chiesa in recent times as an alternative in case they can’t sign RB Leipzig star Christopher Nkunku in the future.

That could mean a swap deal being created with Chiesa and Mount swapping places – the Italian was linked with a move to Stamford Bridge in the past.
Chiesa hasn’t had the best year given his ACL injury he suffered in January and is on the road to recovery, but clubs have still been monitoring his progress.
He has a contract with the Bianconeri until 2025 and Juventus value him quite highly – reportedly at over €100 million – meaning the club can get a high price for him.
🚨 Liverpool and Juventus are keeping tabs on Mason Mount’s situation as it is uncertain whether he will renew his contract with Chelsea.

If Mount is to go the other way, the Italians will want a fee for Chiesa and that could work in their favour given their recent financial troubles.
How this deal pans out remains to be seen but it will be interesting to follow given contract situations and interest in players from both clubs.
