Chelsea to make Ronaldo free transfer offer: The details
Chelsea are set to make a free transfer offer to Cristiano Ronaldo ahead of the January transfer window, according to the Daily Mirror.
It is almost certain that Ronaldo has already played his last game for Manchester United, following his sensational interview with Piers Morgan on TalkTV this week.
Ronaldo blasted Man Utd in the interview, accusing the club and key figures of betraying him and trying to force him out.

He slammed manager Erik ten Hag, former boss Ralf Rangnick, owners The Glazers and club legends Wayne Rooney and Gary Neville.
This interview is likely to result in Ronaldo’s contract at Man Utd being rescinded before January.
And The Mirror reports that Chelsea are set to make an offer to sign Ronaldo on a free transfer.
The Blues owners Todd Boehly wanted to sign Ronaldo in the summer and held a meeting with his agent Jorge Mendes.
However, the deal did not go through as former Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel was against the transfer.
Why Chelsea want Ronaldo
Now the deal is set to be resurrected as Chelsea have struggled badly in attack this season.
Summer signing Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has failed to fulfil expectations in the number nine position, and Ronaldo has been earmarked to take his place for the rest of the season.
Ronaldo initially put in a transfer request at Man Utd back in July, citing his desire to join a club that is in the Champions League and could challenge for major trophies.
His agent Mendes offered him out to numerous clubs around Europe, including Chelsea, PSG, Napoli, Roma and Bayern, without finding a taker.
Ronaldo has only scored three goals in 2022-23, one in the Premier League and two in the Europa League.
He is now at the World Cup with the Portugal national team.
