Ronaldo OUT, Mbappe IN: Man Utd’s €170m monster bid
Manchester United are lining up a monstrous €170 million move for Kylian Mbappe to replace Cristiano Ronaldo, according to the Daily Star.
Ronaldo is certain to leave Man Utd before or during the January transfer window following his controversial interview with Piers Morgan during which he launched a sensational attack on various key figures at the club, including manager Erik ten Hag and owners, The Glazers.
Man Utd have decided that Ronaldo will not play for the club again and have begun searching for a replacement.

Mbappe has been earmarked as the top target and are prepared to pay a transfer fee of €170 million and meet the attacker’s €568,000 per week salary plus bonuses.
The 23-year-old had seemed destined to join Real Madrid this past summer but completed a dramatic turnaround by penning a three-year extension with PSG at the end of May.
It was thought that the deal ran until 2025 but it has been reported recently that the contract is actually until 2024 instead.
It has also been further reported that Mbappe is desperate to leave PSG in 2023 after PSG broke a string of promises made to him during the contract renewal.
This has given Man Utd hope of completing a shock move for the player.
Other Man Utd targets
United’s other options if Mbappe isn’t possible include Tottenham’s Harry Kane and Napoli’s Victor Osimhen.
However, in reality, it will be extremely difficult to sign any of these three players during the January transfer window.
PSG are going after that elusive Champions League trophy and will not want to lose Mbappe. Napoli, meanwhile, are top of Serie A and aiming for a first league title in over 30 years. As for Tottenham, chairman Daniel Levy is notoriously difficult to do business with.
