Revealed: Man Utd target wanted by Aston Villa
Unai Emery began his tenure as Aston Villa boss earlier this month and he already has a few transfer targets in mind, one of which could affect Manchester United.
Emery had a fine run at Villarreal, spurring them on to a Europa League win in 2021 where they beat Manchester United in the final and he could land another blow in the transfer market.
In his time there, he developed several stars, some of which have gone on to play for their international sides in recent times and he is looking to bring them to Villa Park with him.

He is targeting three players to bring over to England, one of which is long-term Manchester United defensive target Pau Torres.
Torres of interest to Emery
Pau Torres has been of interest to several clubs in recent times across England and Europe and Manchester United have been one of the top ones.
They were close to making a move for him when Ole Gunnar Solskjaer was manager in 2021 but didn’t in the end and Torres has continued to impress.

Over the course of the last few years, Torres has become one of La Liga’s best defenders and has become a regular in the Spanish national set-up as well.
In addition to Manchester United, other clubs interested in Torres include Barcelona, Real Madrid and Chelsea, all of whom are keen on adding a central defender to their side.
In addition to Torres, Emery is looking to bring in two others to Villa Park including Nicolas Jackson and Yeremy Pino to the Villains as well.

The 21-year-old Nicolas Jackson has been linked to Barcelona in recent times and made a name for himself in La Liga under Emery.
Yeremy, meanwhile, has been linked to sides like Arsenal and Liverpool in recent years and a move to England in the near future could be a real possibility for him.
