The Red Devils have struggled in attack and have been looking for players to sign, with their current options being Marcus Rashford, Anthony Martial and Ronaldo.

Martial’s fitness has been a concern for a while and Ronaldo’s future at Manchester United is unclear, leaving the club needing to look for alternatives.

Now, they’ve got two players on their list, however, neither of them will come in cheap as they look for their best long-term option.

Man Utd identify two targets

According to The Telegraph, the first player on their list is Benjamin Sesko, who is on loan at Red Bull Salzburg in Austria with a deal to move to RB Leipzig next year.

Sesko shone for Salzburg in the 2021-22 season and attracted interest from several clubs in the summer before agreeing a deal to move to RB Leipzig – and the Germans sent him back on loan to their Austrian cousins.

That deal has only inflated Sesko’s value – he is now expected to cost upwards of £40 million if Manchester United want to sign him next summer.

Other than Manchester United, Chelsea were also interested in signing the talented 19-year-old forward and considering their attacking issues, they may return for him next year to help their cause.

The other player on their list is Juventus star Dusan Vlahovic, who is likely to cost even more, but would be a shrewd signing considering his young age and talents.

Vlahovic only moved to the Turin club from Fiorentina back in January after starring in Serie A and has had some fine moments, but there have been concerns over his Champions League form.

However, there is still belief that the 22-year-old has plenty of potential and given Juventus’ financial issues, they may be inclined to sell.

Vlahovic has been linked with moves to England in the past with the likes of Arsenal and Tottenham maintaining a strong interest in the player.

Who Manchester United go for will be interesting to see as they look to sign a player to get them through the next few years and allow their progression.
