Raheem Sterling's transfer value has plummeted after poor Chelsea form
Raheem Sterling's move from Manchester City to Chelsea was heralded as shrewd business in the summer, with the Englishman arriving at Stamford Bridge after helping build the dynasty created under Pep Guardiola.
However, the 27-year-old has hit a rough patch at his new club, despite an encouraging start.
The England international, who is expected to play a key role under Gareth Southgate at the Qatar World Cup, had scored four and assisted one by mid-September, but his strike against Dinamo Zagreb in the final Champions League group stage game was his first goal in eight weeks.

After hitting the ground running under Thomas Tuchel, Sterling has struggled since Graham Potter's arrival, with the former Man City star often asked to play in an unfamiliar wing-back berth.
This has stunted his own ability to contribute in the final third and has also seen the Blues find it difficult to create many clear-cut chances. That fact has become amplified since Reece James' injury, with much of Chelsea's attacking thrust lost without their talismanic full-back on the pitch.
While Sterling hasn't been used in his preferred position in the front three on many occasions by Potter, his general form will have caused concern, with former England international Jay Bothroyd admitting to TalkSPORT at the start of November: "If you said to me today based upon his performances this season and his form this season, I wouldn’t personally start him [at the World Cup].
"This year, Sterling has got three goals and an assist [in the Premier League]. He’s had 11 starts, he’s been subbed off six times. That shows he’s not playing well for his club.
"We’re talking about of the best wingers this country has ever produced and I love Sterling as a player, but right now, based upon his form, he can’t be starting for England at the World Cup."
This opinion can be seen by the fact that Sterling's transfer value has dramatically dropped in recent weeks.
What is Raheem Sterling's transfer value?
Sterling's current transfer value is €70 million, which is still more than the €56.2m Chelsea paid Man City to sign him this summer.
However, he has dropped from the seventh most valuable player in the world to the 22nd most valuable player in the world in the space of a month, highlighting his drop-off in form at Stamford Bridge.

Kai Havertz and Mason Mount are the only two Chelsea players more valuable than Sterling, but the Englishman's value has dropped by €20m since September, showing his decline in form that has an impact on his value.
