Chelsea's interest in swap for Bayern Munich star rejected
Chelsea are interested in a trade deal with Bayern Munich for the transfer of Kinglsey Coman, and are willing to offer Christian Pulisic.
Pulisic has been lingering to leave Chelsea for a while having struggled to make a mark at Stamford Bridge for the last few years, with a move linked after the World Cup in the January transfer window.
The American was linked with moves to Newcastle United and Manchester United in the past but that never materialized and he is still angling for an exit.

Now, it seems as though they want to make an audacious swap deal with Bayern Munich, but it seems unlikely to happen anytime soon.
According to Bild journalist Christian Falk, there is an emphasis that the deal “makes no sense at all” and that it won’t be happening in the near future.
Coman to stay at Bayern
Falk claims the deal is like replacing a “Fiat for a Ferrari” and that the Bavarian club are happy to keep hold of Coman for the coming years with no intention of letting him go.
It’s believed that Bayern Munich wouldn’t consider selling even if a significant cash-plus-player offer came in for Coman and it would take a lot for their minds to change.

Coman has been a part of the set-up at Bayern Munich for a while and has been successful, even scoring the winner in the Champions League final in 2020 against Paris Saint-Germain.
As for Pulisic, there is interest in him from various clubs and that may rise after a fine World Cup with the United States where he was important to the United States’ progression to the knockout rounds.
Where Pulisic ends up remains to be seen but what is clear is that Coman won’t be leaving Bavaria and Chelsea will have to focus on a different deal.
