Liverpool send scouts to watch Ghana star Mohammed Kudus
Liverpool are interested in the signing of Mohammed Kudus from Ajax, according to journalist Fabrizio Romano having followed his progress for a long time.
Kudus has had a fine season with Ajax so far and he was able to show his talents for Ghana at the World Cup, where he scored two goals despite the team’s group stage exit from the tournament.
The midfielder was linked with a Premier League move in the summer, with Everton and Chelsea interested, but Ajax blocked any possible transfer.

Now, it seems as though Liverpool are intent on a transfer for Kudus and could make a move for him in the upcoming transfer windows.
Liverpool monitoring Kudus
Liverpool have needed reinforcements in midfield with their current options either struggling with injury or ageing, leaving them short in that area.
The fact that Kudus can also play in attack on occasion is an added bonus and he would fit in very well with the set-up at Anfield, giving Jurgen Klopp a variety of options for his team.

Fabrizio Romano spoke about the possible Liverpool transfer, suggesting that Kudus’ desire to play in the Premier League might get a deal over the line for him.
“Mohammed Kudus dreams of Premier League football since long time. He’d love to play in the Premier League. He was close to Everton last summer, but then Ajax made the deal collapse after selling Antony to Manchester United.”
Mohammed Kudus is pushing for a move to the Premier League and after 'informal contact' last summer from #LFC, we could be interested in a move for the Ghana international who can play as part of a front three but wants to be involved in the midfield 🇬🇭

Ajax will look for a big fee for Kudus, as they have done for many of their star names in the past, and it’s believed he will cost around £40 million if Liverpool want to sign him.
Kudus joined Ajax from Danish club Nordsjaelland back in 2020 and after a few seasons of injury and being a second-choice player, he has shone so far in this campaign.
