The price Man Utd would be willing to sell Rashford to Real Madrid
Manchester United could be ‘forced’ to sell Marcus Rashford to Real Madrid in the summer, according to a report from the Daily Star.
Rashford’s contract at Old Trafford expires next summer, but while Man Utd retain an option to trigger a one-year extension, which they will surely do, the England international’s long-term future remains in some doubt.
The 25-year-old striker has impressed at the 2022 World Cup, where he is among the leading scorers, having netted three goals, while his importance at Man Utd has increased in recent weeks due to the departure of Cristiano Ronaldo following a dramatic saga.

Now the Red Devils are fighting to keep Rashford, who has been at the club since he was seven and worked his way through the youth academy to the first team.
Man Utd have offered Rashford a contract worth a reported £300,000 per week, which is a 50% pay increase on his current deal, but it has not been accepted thus far.
If there is no movement from the England striker towards signing a new deal, the Star reports that the Premier League club would prefer to sell him rather than have him leave for nothing in 2024.

How much is Marcus Rashford worth?
Manchester United are open to offers of around €93 million (£80m) for Rashford, according to The Star.
However, this asking price is well in excess of his value given a difficult couple of years on the field for the forward and also the fact that his contract is winding down.
According to FootballTransfers, Rashford’s expected transfer value is in the region of €53m, with an upper estimate of €67m – still well below what the Red Devils are hoping to recoup of the player.
Rashford’s valuation peaked in November 2021, when it was estimated he was worth €83m, but it has been on a steady decline from that point – until recent months.
PSG have also been linked with a transfer for Rashford, but it is doubtful that either they or Real Madrid would match the figure Man Utd want – and in any case, the player seems settled at Old Trafford.
