Los Blancos have been on a mission to freshen up their squad with young talent in recent seasons, with youthful stars such as Vinicius Junior, Rodrygo, Eduardo Camavinga and, most recently, Aurelien Tchouameni added to their ranks.

And now they are considering the possibility of adding Garnacho to their ranks should Man Utd fail to tie the 18-year-old down to a new deal at Old Trafford.

Indeed, the Argentina star has been causing great excitement with the Red Devils but with a contract that expires at the end of the season, there is the possibility that they lose him.

Man Utd have met with Garnacho’s family on multiple occasions and have offered him a contract upgrade after an impressive rise over the 18 months since he signed his initial deal.

Indeed, it is reported he is in line for a pay rise of 1000%.

Real Madrid eye Garnacho

Real Madrid, though, are seeking to complicate matters for Erik ten Hag’s side by offering themselves as an alternative possibility.

Indeed, Los Blancos could potentially be an interesting prospect for Garnacho, who is said to remain attached to the city of his birth. He returns to the Spanish capital whenever he has the chance to spend time with his family and has been there during the World Cup break, where he as spotted training with Javi Ledesma, the personal trainer of former Real Madrid star Achraf Hakimi, who is now with PSG.

Man Utd, though, will do everything in their power to ensure that he stays put. Although Garnacho has only played 292 minutes this season, he has already proven himself to be a capable presence, with two goals and two assists to his credit this season, notably bagging a dramatic late winner against Fulham in the final match before the World Cup.
