Accept Arsenal or Chelsea offer! – Caicedo tells Brighton
Moises Caicedo has told Brighton to accept a record transfer bid for him and allow him to leave for Arsenal or Chelsea.
The 21-year-old Ecuador midfielder has been the subject of interest from the Premier League’s biggest sides over recent months and has now come out publicly and admitted that he wants to leave the Seagulls.
Arsenal and Chelsea have both had bids knocked back for the player, with the Gunners’ offer of £60 million on Friday rejected by the south coast club. Previously, the Blues had a verbal offer worth £55m turned down by Brighton.

What did Caicedo say on Twitter?
Caicedo, though, is unhappy at this turn of events and has taken to Twitter to plead for Brighton to accept the offer.
“I am grateful to Mr. Bloom and Brighton for giving me the chance to come to the Premier League and I feel I have always done my best for them,” he said. “I always play football with a smile and with heart.
“I am the youngest of 10 siblings from a poor upbringing in Santa Domingo in Ecuador. My dream always to be the most decorated player in the history of Ecuador.
“I am proud to be able to bring in a record transfer fee for Brighton which would allow them to reinvest it and help the club continue to be successful.
“The fans have taken me into their hearts, and they will always be in my heart so I hope they can understand why I want to take up this magnificent opportunity.”

FootballTransfers understands that a bid approaching £75m may be enough to tempt Brighton into selling Caicedo, but only if the structure of the payments suits the club.
Meanwhile, reports that Brighton feel Caicedo’s new agents are turning the player’s head towards a transfer to Arsenal or Chelsea appear to be vindicated by his latest comments after he previously indicated that he was content to stay at the AmEx Stadium.
