Arsenal submit fresh Mudryk bid
Arsenal have submitted a new bid for Shakhtar Donetsk winger Mykhailo Mudryk as his transfer saga continues to roll on.
Mudryk, 22, has made his desire to leave Shakhtar this month very clear, but he has returned to team training with the club.
According to Fabrizio Romano, the Gunners have submitted a fresh bid to sign the winger and talks are ongoing with Shakhtar. It's believed that a deal is getting closer, but there has yet to be a deal-sealing breakthrough.
Arsenal are still leading the race, despite interest from Chelsea, with the Blues yet to submit an official bid as things stand.

Mudryk has quickly emerged as one of the most talented young attackers in Europe over the past few years, impressing at both club and international level. His form has caught the eyes of Premier League scouts and it appears to be a straight shootout between Arsenal and Chelsea for his signature.
Arsenal's interest in Mudryk far outdates the Blues', with the Gunners keeping tabs on the winger for several months now. It's believed that he will provide competition and depth to their forward line, rotating with the likes of Gabriel Martinelli.
The player himself has made it clear that he wants to move to North London and work under Mikel Arteta.

Mudryk told to join Chelsea
Former Liverpool forward Stan Collymore told CaughtOffside: "I know some fans will argue that considering where both clubs are at the minute, if he were to choose the Blues over the Gunners, it’ll only be for the money.
"And that may well be true, but for me, Chelsea is still the more attractive project. If [Todd] Boehly can sell Chelsea’s future to Mudryk then that’s the more alluring option.
"If I had the choice, I’d choose Chelsea over Arsenal and that’s not me dismissing the good work Mikel Arteta and Arsenal are doing, but I just think over a three or four-year period, the Blues are the better project and the club more likely to consistently compete for silverware. So all that being considered, I wouldn’t be surprised if Mudryk ended up at Stamford Bridge."
