'Ciao Felix' - Twitter reacts to Joao's red card on Chelsea debut
Chelsea's latest signing Joao Felix received a red card on his debut against Fulham in the Premier League.
Felix was brought in on loan from Atletico Madrid yesterday and was a surprise inclusion in the starting lineup today.
And for 57 minutes, he showed why he is the fifth-most expensive player in football history.

His technical ability was on full display; drawing fouls, taking on defenders and creating chances. Then, a moment of madness.
Felix made a horrendous tackle on Fulham full-back Kenny Tete and was sent for an early bath. He will miss the Blues' next three matches.
Reaction to Felix red card
Joao Felix can't have any complaints. A reckless challenge. He's been desperate to impress all game, and looked really lively, but on this occasion it was rash and a clear red card. Sad way to end his debut. pic.twitter.com/QLHhXhF2R6

Felix was deserving of the red card for what is an outrageous tackle by anyone's standards - even Diego Simeone's.
After all this time, Joao Felix is finally playing the way Diego Simeone wants him to.

Felix has been described as 'too soft' for Simeone's style of play. Who would have thought he'd get sent off in his first game away from the club.
Chelsea loaning Felix for 20 league games and him automatically missing 3 of them after his debut is absolutely hilarious

Joao Felix’s 6-month loan has just turned into a 5-month loan

Chelsea were already paying an incredible £9 million for a five-month loan, which some people are pointing out is now down to four.
The next time we see Joao Felix play, it’ll be with Reece James 🤣😍 #CFC

But this Chelsea fan takes light in the fact that he could play next to the Blues' best player Reece James next time.
