Will Man Utd buy last-minute midfielder after serious Eriksen injury?
Manchester United have been dealt a massive blow this season with Christian Eriksen out with a long-time injury.
The Dane is out until late April or early May because of an ankle knock sustained in the side’s FA Cup victory 3-1 over Reading on Saturday.
It comes after the Premier League side stated that they will not be looking into bringing a player in this January - but fans are desperately hoping the former Tottenham attacker’s knock would surely change their mind; if not it could spell disaster, they feel.

It appears the club have perked up. They have been offered the chance to sign Yannick Carrasco from Atletico Madrid but Erik ten Hag is unsure whether he wants the player.
Other reports suggest that the side are now contacting several leading clubs around Europe to see whether they can bring in a midfielder before tonight’s transfer deadline.
The Glazers, who are expecting a sale of the club this year, have tightened purse strings for this window - that's what they have outlined: no new signings.
But, should they stick by this principle, it will be a huge detriment for the club, who are hoping to obtain a spot in the Champions League.
If the owners are serious about getting a spot in Europe’s biggest competition, they are going to have to re-evaluate their options and bite the bullet.
Man Utd already have Jack Butland on loan from Crystal Palace and Wout Weghorst on loan from Burnley which means they are unable to sign any other domestic player on a temporary basis.
So it would have to be the foreign market where they look to find a player who can play at Old Trafford.
The side needs cover - and not even necessarily a world-class talent. The window is closing today, meaning that they are going to have to act rather swiftly.
Glazer’s must act
From the Glazer’s perspective, it would be rather short-sighted to merely just refuse to sanction a move should an opportunity arise.
The need to back Erik ten Hag, the manager they have brought in to set them back on track.
The club are sitting on a chance to reach the League Cup final, while a Champions League position is viable as well, especially given the plight of Tottenham and Chelsea this season.
A successful season for the Red Devils is there for the taking - but the Glazers must show a degree of competency ahead of tonight’s deadline and bring in someone to supplement Casemiro.
If they don't, they run the risk of tarnishing the club's entire campaign so far, and all the work Ten Hag has done.
