‘What a baller!’ - Gunners fans urge Arsenal to sign Mitoma

Arsenal fans have urged the club to sign Kaoru Mitoma after the Brighton winger’s sensational winner against Liverpool on Sunday.

The Japanese international was the hero after scoring a brilliant 89th minute winner for Brighton in the 2-1 home FA Cup victory.

This win was all the more impressive given the drama surrounding Moises Caicedo’s negotiations with Arsenal and Chelsea which had overshadowed the game and led to the midfielder being dropped.

But MItoma has exploded in recent weeks into one of the most exciting players in the Premier League.

He has scored or assisted in eight of his last 11 games for Brighton, scoring six times and making the other two.

He has been a constant livewire down the left wing, and has been the key man for a Brighton team that is not only into the fifth round of the FA Cup but flying in sixth place in the Premier League.

Brighton have already lost one key player this month in Leandro Trossard to Arsenal, while they also risk losing Caicedo to the same club or to Chelsea.

And watching Arsenal fans flocked to social media calling on their club to sign yet another Brighton player in the form of Mitoma.
