Liverpool and Man Utd face Bayern competition for France star
Liverpool and Manchester United have suffered a blow in their hopes of signing Eintracht Frankfurt forward Randal Kolo Muani as a Bayern Munich move hasn’t been ruled out.
Kolo Muani has been impressive for Eintracht Frankfurt this season having scored eight goals and provided 12 assists in 25 appearances for the Europa League holders so far this season.
His most recent outing was a game against Bayern Munich, where he scored, and that has raised the interest in him even further from the Bavarian side.

Amid transfer speculation, his representatives have come out and said that a move to the record German champions cannot be ruled out in the near future.
Interest high in Kolo Muani
Personnel from his advisors, MDC Advisors, said recently: “Bayern is a world class club, every player can imagine that [playing there] — and we can also think of the answer for Randal. But at the moment, he is 100% focused on Eintracht Frankfurt, we have a lot of respect for the club.”
Kolo Muani’s rise has been prominent, having signed on a free transfer for Eintracht Frankfurt after leaving Nantes last season.

His good form in the first half of the campaign earned him a spot on the France side that reached the World Cup final, and he even scored in the semi-final success over Morocco, before playing much of the final.
Since the World Cup, interest in him has risen, as the Premier League duo of Manchester United and Liverpool have been keeping tabs on his progress.
Randal Kolo Muani really is outstanding. Rarely seen a striker scare Upamecano like he did last night. Pace, touch, ruthless finishing. What a pick-up for Eintracht Frankfurt #sgefcb

It’s believed that Eintracht Frankfurt will want a fee of around €80 million for the French attacker in the summer should any club show serious interest in the 24-year-old.
Bayern are also keeping him amongst their top targets as they look for a long-term forward to succeed the departed Robert Lewandowski, and Julian Nagelsmann is an admirer of the player.
