Harry Maguire: European giants make transfer bid for Man Utd flop
Manchester United will be given the opportunity to offload Harry Maguire before the end of the January transfer window, with a major European team having come in for a bid.
According to The Daily Mail, Inter will asked about the possibility of signing the 29-year-old on loan.
The Serie A club are eager to bolster their defensive ranks before the window shuts because they are presently in negotiations with PSG over a move for centre-back Milan Skriniar.

With Skriniar out of contract in the summer, the Nerazzurri are desperate to claw back any transfer fee they can for him and it has been reported that the Ligue 1 leaders are set to return with a bid worth €15 million on Monday after an initial €10m offer was rejected.
This could leave a hole in the middle of their rearguard, which they have looked to Old Trafford to fill.
Victor Lindelof has been linked with a switch to the Serie A club, but it may be that they will ultimately turn instead to Maguire.

Maguire fifth choice at Man Utd
Having been signed for a world-record fee of €87 million for a centre-back, Maguire, who is under contract until 2025, has become something of a figure of fun at Old Trafford. He has slipped to fifth choice in his position behind Raphael Varane, Lisandro Martinez, Lindelof and, most embarrassingly, left-back Luke Shaw.
Manager Erik ten Hag has only used Maguire four times from the start of Premier League matches this season, though after his part in the infamous 4-0 loss against Brentford, he has largely disappeared from sight in England’s top flight.
Nevertheless, there is no guarantee that Ten Hag will allow the England international, whose reputation abroad remains high, to depart. The Dutchman is concerned about the depth that he has in his Man Utd squad, although that more relates to the offensive areas.
