Man Utd legend Neville savages Carragher over Rashford transfer comment
Manchester United legend Gary Nevill has mocked his Sky Sports colleague Jamie Carragher over the former Liverpool man’s previous comments regarding Marcus Rashford.
The striker earned a brace in Man Utd’s 3-0 win over Leicester as he marked his highest-ever total during a season, with 24 goals in all competitions.
Carragher had previously questioned whether Rashford would be better served moving on from Old Trafford, and Neville could not resist bringing this up once again while he was live on Sky Sports.

“There’s a pundit called Jamie Carragher who once said on Monday Night Football that he thought Marcus Rashford should leave Manchester United to further his career,” Neville said. “I disagreed with him at the time, I don’t always get them right by the way I just thought that when he gets them wrong I might as well promote it."
Rashford netted just four Premier League goals last season and there were rumours that he may possibly depart the side - with Paris Saint-Germain reportedly keen on him.
But he has become indispensable this campaign, particularly after the World Cup where his form has rocketed and he’s found himself as Erik ten Hag’s main man in front of goal.
Rashford's price rockets
It comes after reports that Man Utd have placed a £120m price-tag on Rashford this summer.
The 25-year-old has 16 months left on his contract after United triggered a one-year option to stop him from becoming a free agent this June.
Now the Daily Star report that clubs interested in Rashford would have to meet the club’s huge valuation of him.
PSG and Real Madrid are expected to lead the chase for the star, as well as Barcelona, who saw the hitman score against them in the 2-2 Europa League first-leg at the Nou Camp last Thursday.
