Andrey Santos: Chelsea give Vasco three conditions to seal loan ahead of LA Galaxy
Vasco da Gama are on the brink of securing a loan deal for Chelsea wonderkid Andrey Santos, with LA Galaxy set to be runners up in the chase for the young Brazilian.
The 18-year-old South American U20 champion joined the Blues from Vasco during the January transfer window but the Blues are eager to loan him out amid concerns that he may not be eligible yet to receive a UK work permit.
Certainly, the teenager is unlikely to get much game time at Stamford Bridge and the Blues are seeking a loan move for him.

Palmeiras were thought to be leading the race for Andrey Santos only for the deal to break down as they failed to agree terms with Chelsea. The Brazilian side wanted to keep the player for the full year whereas the Blues were only willing to give him away until June.
Now it is Vasco who are in pole position to secure the re-signing of the player.

Andrey Santos transfer latest
According to local journalist Lucas Pedrosa, Chelsea have agreed to the move on the condition that it is completed by Monday.
He has added that the ball is in Vasco’s court, with the sticking point potentially being the transfer fee. The Brazilians side have been told by Chelsea to pay around €2 million for the player, which represents around 30% of the €6.25m that the Blues have already paid them as the first installment of the player’s transfer fee.
Furthermore, Chelsea have played two conditions on the deal: that the player is free to play in the Under-20 FIFA World Cup, which takes place in May and June in Indonesia, and secondly that he returns to England on 1 July.
Should Vasco fail to agree to any part of this deal, the door will still be open for Andrey Silva to move to LA Galaxy on loan from Chelsea.
