Chelsea next manager odds: Pochettino favourite to replace Potter

Mauricio Pochettino is the favourite with the bookmakers to replace under-fire Chelsea manager Graham Potter.

Potter is very much at risk of the sack at Stamford Bridge after a disastrous run of results.

The Englishman succeeded Thomas Tuchel in September 2022 but has endured a dismal 2022-23 season.

Chelsea need a miracle to qualify for next season’s Champions League.

Odds and favourite to be next Chelsea manager

If Potter is sacked, Mauricio Pochettino is regarded as the favourite to succeed the former Brighton manager.

Pochettino is out of work since being sacked by PSG in 2022 and is available at odds of 7/4 with Sky Bet.

Zinedine Zidane is second favourite for the Chelsea manager at odds of 9/1. The France legend has been without a job since leaving Real Madrid in 2021.

He had been expected to succeed Didier Deschamps as France manager after the 2022 World Cup, but Zidane’s former midfield teammate opted to stay for Euro 2024.

The third favourite to be next Chelsea manager is Luis Enrique at 14/1. The former Barcelona treble winner left his post at the Spain national team after being eliminated in the last-16 by Morocco at the 2022 World Cup.

Next up is Diego Simeone, who can be found at odds of 14/1. Simeone has spent over a decade as Atletico Madrid manager but things have started to become stale recently.

Completing the top five is a surprise option in the form of Eintracht Frankfurt coach Oliver Glasner.

Glasner has a burgeoning reputation after leading Frankfurt to 2022 Europa League glory, beating Barcelona on the way to victory.

Other managers in the top 10 with the bookmakers are Marco Silva, Jose Mourinho, Brendan Rodgers, Deschamps and Carlo Ancelotti.

Just outside the top 10 are Ange Postecoglou, Tuchel, Gareth Southgate and Frank Lampard.
