Jude Bellingham: Borussia Dortmund resist Liverpool transfer interest
Borussia Dortmund will try and keep Jude Bellingham beyond the summer amid interest from rival elite clubs.
The England international is wanted by Liverpool, Manchester City, Chelsea, Manchester United, and Real Madrid for the upcoming transfer window.
But Dortmund director Sebastian Kehl has stressed that his side won’t roll over and let him leave without trying their best to persuade Bellingham to remain with the Bundesliga outfit.

“No new development has taken place. We will have to be patient a little longer”, Kehl told Ruhr News BVB. “Of course, we'll try to keep Bellingham at Borussia Dortmund as long as possible because he's an incredibly important player”.
Dortmund remain bullish over Bellingham
It comes after Dortmund manager Edin Terzic urged Bellingham to reject the approaches made by the host of clubs that want to purchase him.
Despite the string of sides interested in the 19-year-old midfielder, the coach publicly asked to ‘break the mould’ and remain with BVB.
Dortmund have sold Jadon Sancho and Erling Haaland over the past two summers to Premier League sides for massive fees but Terzic does not believe Bellingham following them is inevitable“I believe that we need to work on keeping these young guys one year longer,” Terzic told The Athletic. “In my first season [as interim manager], I was able to put Jadon, Jude and Erling on the pitch, but that was their only year together.
“That was also partly due to COVID-19 and empty stadiums, there were financial considerations. But if we can get to the point where it’s two or three years of such a trio, maybe we can break the mould.”
Bellingham is under contract until June 2025 with Dortmund, who are asking north of €120m for his services in the summer.
