‘Unforgiveable, Jurgen’ – Liverpool fans hammer Klopp for Gakpo decision
Liverpool supporters turned on manager Jurgen Klopp for a big decision that the manager made during Saturday’s Premier League clash with Crystal Palace.
The game was poised at 0-0 with five minutes remaining when the Reds boss elected to replace winger Cody Gakpo with defensive midfielder Stefan Bajcetic.
With the Anfield club needing a goal to continue their push for a Champions League spot next season, it was an unusual call to see Klopp withdraw a forward in the circumstances, but Netherlands international Gakpo had been their most dangerous attacker throughout.

Indeed, minutes earlier he had gone clear on goal but clipped an effort just wide.
Reds fans were particularly baffled as to why Jordan Henderson remained on the field after another pedestrian match from the veteran midfielder.
They took to Twitter to voice their displeasure with the call as they ultimately dropped two precious points in the Champions League race.

What did Liverpool fans say about Klopp's decision?
It's 0 0 and he removes Gakpo while playing useless henderson all 90. Unforgivable, Jurgen #LFC

I defend Jürgen Norbert Klopp for everything and he keeps Hendo on the pitch and takes off Gakpo in return

The need a goal and he takes off Gakpo for Bajcetic. Curtis Jones and Carvalho should just retire honestly

Following a 5-2 loss at home against Real Madrid in the Champions League earlier in the week, the pressure is once again starting to ramp up on Klopp, whose side are widely considered to have underperformed this season.
