Man Utd: Bayern Munich set Marcel Sabitzer price over permanent switch
Manchester United may be able to sign Marcel Sabitzer on a permanent basis in the summer for €20m.
Bayern Munich are open to a sale for the midfielder, reports Christian Falk, but the German side want to wait to see how he does for the Red Devils before cementing their price.
Sabitzer joined Man Utd on loan until the end of the season following the long-term injury to Christian Eriksen, who’s out for three months.

The move did not feature an option-to-buy in the end but Man Utd will keep their eyes on the Austrian - and they may be persuaded by the low cut price.
Sabitzer has put in some decent displays so far and his parent club are open to a full sale of the player in the coming window.
“Marcel Sabitzer is currently on loan at Manchester United until the summer, however, there is no purchase clause included,” Falk told Bild.
“That is often done in such cases and for good reason. Bayern can demand more in a transfer fee if he performs as he is doing currently.
“He has played his way into the team and could now generate more revenue for Bayern than the €15m that it cost to sign him from Leipzig.
“One hears €20m would be conceivable and that they would sell him. He has a contract until 2025 so it is a reasonable price. The better he performs the more Bayern can get and the Bavarians take that into account.”
Is Sabitzer worth the price?
FootballTransfers data values Sabitzer at €24.7m - so the fee would be in keeping with our price.
The midfielder is under contract with Bayern until 2025 and the sale would represent a profit for them.
The Bundesliga champions bought Sabitzer from RB Leipzig for €15m in the summer of 2021.
