Benjamin Pavard: Man Utd and Barcelona learn Bayern Munich's asking price
Manchester United and Barcelona have been told the asking price for transfer target Benjamin Pavard.
The Bayern Munich defender is set to leave the Bundesliga giants after a successful spell where he helped them lift three league titles. And it’s thought that the Frenchman will be able to depart for just £26.8m in the summer, according to Sport1.

The reason for the low price is the fact that the 26-year-old is out of contract the following summer.
Bayern were open to selling Pavard in January, but despite interest from Inter, the move never happened.
It is thought that had the Serie A giants sold Milan Skriniar to Paris Saint-Germain they would have made a move for the player.
Despite interest from Man Utd, Pavard is expected to prioritise a transfer to Barca in the summer.
Pavard could see his game time significantly decrease following the loan arrival of Joao Cancelo from Manchester City.
The player indeed likes Barcelona but the La Liga outfit are facing difficulties to navigate La Liga's salary cap and Financial Fair Play regulations. Barca are short of options are short at right-back, though Sergio Roberto reportedly nearing another contract extension.
Jules Kounde, who’s traditionally a centre-back, has been filling in the position and doing a decent job. While former Chelsea man Andreas Christensen and Ronald Araujo are the partners in central defense. But when one of them is out, Kounde has to provide cover.
Erik ten Hag’s right-move ambition
Man Utd had looked at bringing in a right-back over the January window and it was their priority at the time. But Aaron Wan-Bissaka enjoyed a decent spell there while covering for Diogo Dalot and he kept his place.
It’s probable the side move for a right-back in the upcoming summer window - and Pavard would represent a suitable option, given his vast experience and relatively young age.
And the fee Bayern have reportedly asked for means the move would be a no-brainer.
