Mudryk arrived at Chelsea amid much fanfare, the "Ukrainian Neymar" ending up at Stamford Bridge instead of the Emirates after the Blues had outbid his long-time admirers Arsenal.

There were shoots of promise on his debut, too, Mudryk impressing with his direct running and attempted key passes after coming off the bench in a 0-0 draw with Liverpool.

Graham Potter handed Mudryk his first Premier League start against Chelsea's local rivals Fulham on Friday and he failed to build upon that first impression before being hooked for Noni Madueke at half-time.

Mudryk didn't win a single take-on, create a single chance or even take a single shot, and the Chelsea fans - and independent observers - took to Twitter to air their frustrations.
