What is Graham Potter’s record at Chelsea?
Chelsea manager Graham Potter faces the very real prospect of losing his job at Stamford Bridge less than six months after arriving at the club.
Chelsea find themselves in an unfamiliar position in the Premier League, struggling to even make the top half of the standings. Sitting in 10th following a 2-0 defeat to London rivals Tottenham, they are only ahead of Aston Villa on goal difference. Meanwhile, they are now 14 points off the Champions League berths.
In normal circumstances, this would be alarming for the club, but after a record spend in both the summer and January which totals more than £600 million, it is thoroughly embarrassing.

Naturally, fingers are being pointed at Potter, who arrived at the club in September following Thomas Tuchel’s sacking.
It was expected that the former Brighton manager would be able to turn things around at Chelsea, but that has not happened.
So how does his record read?

Graham Potter’s Chelsea results
Potter has lost more games than he has won at Chelsea. The 47-year-old has overseen 26 fixtures, 10 of which have now ended in defeat. In contrast, he has claimed only nine wins in the Stamford Bridge dugout.
Remarkably, Chelsea have only won one of their 11 fixtures in 2023 – a 1-0 home success over Crystal Palace.

A lack of goals has been one of the most notable problems they have suffered from, with the Blues netting only four times this year. Indeed, they have now scored only one in their last six matches.
Under Potter, Chelsea have scored a total of 25 goals and have conceded 26. However, 13 of the strikes they have under the former Brighton manager came in his fist six matches in charge, when he also recorded five victories.
Since then, it has gone sharply downhill for the Potter and Chelsea, and the 2-0 defeat to Tottenham may just be his last match in charge.
