Dumfries going to drastic measures to force Chelsea or Man Utd move
Manchester United and Chelsea have both been linked with Inter defender Denzel Dumfries in recent months – and it appears that the Netherlands international is intent on doing what he cane to force a transfer through.
According to Fabrizio Romano, Dumfries has changed agency in a bid to leave the Serie A club this summer.
Dumfries was previously contracted to late Mino Raiola, but from now on his interests will be represented by Wasserman. That agency already has top players such as Nathan Ake (Manchester City), Teun Koopmeiners (Atalanta), Remko Pasveer (Ajax) and Crysencio Summerville (Leeds United) in its portfolio.

According to Romano, it is expected that the new agent of Dumfries will immediately be instructed to look for a new club. The 26-year-old Dutchman was already associated with Chelsea and Man Utd last summer and in January, but a deal did not materialise at the time. A switch to the Premier League is reportedly preferred by Dumfries, but there is no concrete interest for the summer yet.
Dumfries is battling Matteo Darmian for a spot in the right-back position this season in Milan and is currently fighting a battle. After the World Cup break, the 43-time international (6 goals) has only completed 90 minutes twice and had to settle for a place on the bench several times.
The full-back is still fixed at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza until mid-2025 and has an Estimated Transfer Value (ETV) of €24.5m.

Inter could be forced to sell
Inter are not exactly in a rosy position financially and La Gazzetta dello Sport previously reported that as many as 11 players may leave next summer. The club hopes to generate a lot of income from the transfer of Dumfries, Marcelo Brozovic and Joaquin Correa. Stefan de Vrij, like Edin Dzeko, may continue for longer if he accepts a substantial salary reduction.
Otherwise, the Dutchman can look for another destination as a free agent in 24.
Four other Inter players with expiring contracts reportedly do not have to hope for new deals.
Romelu Lukaku (Chelsea), Raoul Bellanova (Cagliari) and Francesco Acerbi (Lazio) are loaned with an option to buy, but only the latter is being considered to exercise that option.
