Liverpool given major boost in race to sign Ligue 1 star
Liverpool have been placed on high alert after summer target Enzo Le Fee revealed he will leave Lorient at the end of the 2022/23 campaign.
Le Fee, 23, has shone for the Ligue 1 side this season, with his performance catching the attention of both Liverpool and Leicester City.
The young Frenchman was linked with a transfer to AFC Bournemouth in January after the club purchased a significant minority ownership interest in Lorient. However, the player rejected the move.

Dango Ouattara, Le Fee's former team-mate at Lorient, joined Bournemouth during the winter window, but the Cherries were unable to sign Le Fee as well.
That has left him available this summer, with Liverpool set to rekindle their interest in the player as Jurgen Klopp looks to improve his midfield options.
The Reds are set to lose both Naby Keita and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain upon the expiry of their contracts, while James Milner will also leave if his terms are not extended.

However, they could face competition for Le Fee from Manchester United, with Red Devils fans desperate for their club to sign the French midfielder.
What has Le Fee said?
Le Fee, who is currently on international duty with the French U-21 side, told Le Telegramme: "It's time for me to leave Lorient. I will no longer extend the contract. I waited for a new proposal in December but then it didn't arrive. It's time to go.
"I hope to leave this summer so my transfer brings money to Lorient."
Le Fee has five goals and five assists in 29 appearances in all competitions so far this season.
