Bellingham in transfer hint after Liverpool destroy Man Utd
Jude Bellingham has further fuelled talk that he will join Liverpool this summer with his social media activity following the Reds’ historic win over Man Utd on Sunday.
Liverpool thrashed Man Utd 7-0 at Anfield, a result which was the joint-biggest defeat in the history of the Old Trafford club.
After the game, Bellingham liked a photo by Trent-Alexander Arnold in which the Liverpool right-back posted a selfie of him smiling in the tunnel together with the scoreboard showing a 7-0 win.
This has further sparked talk that Bellingham will move to Liverpool at the end of the season.
Liverpool are considered by many as favourites for Bellingham due to their excellent relationship with the player and his family.
Bellingham is also close friends with Liverpool duo Jordan Henderson and Alexander-Arnold..
What did Alexander-Arnold say about Bellingham?
"He's an incredible player, especially for his age," Trent told JOE just days before the win over Man Utd.
"I think, deep down, only he knows his ceiling. I think there isn't really one.
“He can achieve what he wants to. He's got everything he needs to go and do that. He's one of those players that you just enjoy watching, enjoy seeing.
“The sky's the limit for him - he's an incredible player and an incredible person."
Which clubs want to sign Jude Bellingham?
Liverpool will be challenged by a host of Europe’s biggest clubs for the teenage Englishman.
Real Madrid have also made Bellingham their number one midfield target for the summer.
Chelsea and Man City are also interested, while Man Utd cannot be ruled out - even if this defeat on Sunday will be a setback for them.
Dortmund are expected to sell their star man this summer, having decided against losing him in 2022 during the same window that they lost Erling Haaland to Man City for €60m.
It had been expected that Bellingham would cost over €100m for whichever club does sign him, with some reports quoting his asking price as high as €150m.
His contract expires in 2024, making a summer transfer likely unless he signs a new contract.
