Man Utd ready to sacrifice Henderson to land €90m star
Manchester United’s prospects of completing a summer transfer for Harry Kane have been given a boost by Tottenham.
Man Utd are in the market for a big-name striker in the summer and are presently eyeing three players who would cost well in excess of €100 million. Alongside Victor Osimhen of Napoli and Eintracht Frankfurt’s Randal Kolo Muani is long-time target Kane.

The England captain had been considered the toughest of this trio to sign given his long-time association with Spurs and the obvious reticence the Red Devils’ Premier League rivals have to sell to their direct competition.
However, ESPN reports that a door may just have been opened to allow Erik ten Hag’s side to raid the London side for Kane, who has an Estimated Transfer Value (ETV) of €90m.

Henderson out, Kane in at Man Utd?
Tottenham are seriously interested in Man Utd goalkeeper Dean Henderson as they are looking for a replacement for present No.1 Hugo Lloris in the summer.
Spurs do have other options on the table, including Everton’s Jordan Pickford, but after he signed a new deal with the Toffees last month, the probability of landing the England No.1 is unlikely.
Henderson, 26, was sent on loan to Nottingham Forest by Ten Hag in the summer and does not appear to be in the plans of the Dutchman as he eyes possible replacements for David de Gea in the summer.
Man Utd’s goalkeeper shortlist seems to consist primarily of Brentford’s David Raya and Porto’s Diogo Costa, although the club are still in talks with De Gea, showing that he may still have a future at Old Trafford for at least the next 12 months.
Indeed, it appears that the Red Devils are saving their budget to target a big-name striker such as Kane in the summer, but with the ongoing uncertainty over the sale of the club, whether a blockbuster transfer will be possible or not is unclear as yet.
Any opportunity to cut a potential transfer fee is, therefore, welcome, and from Man Utd’s perspective, using Henderson to sign Kane is an attractive possibility.
