Osimhen delivers big blow to Man Utd and Chelsea
Victor Osimhen is wanted by Manchester United and Chelsea, but the striker has revealed that he is happy at Napoli.
The Nigerian has become one of Europe's most sought-after players as he is enjoying a remarkable season with Gli Azzurri. Having racked up an impressive 25 goals and five assists in 30 games across all competitions this term, the 24-year-old is being monitored by some of Europe's biggest sides, most prominently being linked with United, Chelsea and more recently Bayern.
The Red Devils and the Blues have long been viewed as leading the race for the imperious forward whose value has almost doubled since the start of the season. However, the fact that his contract runs until 2025 and the price tag of upwards of €100 million will make a deal difficult to complete, and if his recent comments are anything to go by, a transfer is perhaps even unlikely.

What did Osimhen say?
Despite a recent slump, Napoli are still well on course to claim their first Serie A title in 33 years, and Osimhen has now professed his love for his current team. Speaking on Italian television, the 24-year-old said: "It was tough for me to make my dream come true of becoming a professional football player and now we are about to win for the first time."
"I’m at a great club and my career is growing constantly. I am already at one of the biggest clubs and I could not ask for more. Forza Napoli always!"

"We are close to the objective," he continued, "and cannot wait to make our dream come true, to make it a reality. The players always believed, we always thought we could do something exceptional, even when nobody else believed we could. The affection from the city is extraordinary, I have never received so much love. I can’t wait to celebrate with them at the stadium."
