Gavi in TALKS to sign for Chelsea on free transfer
Chelsea have held talks with the agent of Gavi ahead of a possible summer move.
Diario AS say that the Blues are looking to bounce after news emerged that the Spanaird’s contract with Barcelona could become void.
Barca must register him as a first-team player by July - but in order to do so they must free up funds. And if the Blaugrana are not able to do this and lower their wage bill, to accommodate Gavi, his contract will be defunct and other clubs would be able to sign him on a free transfer in the summer.

The Blues have met with the 18-year-old’s agent - and they expressed a desire to sign him.
Plus more talks have been scheduled between the two parties, while Chelsea are prepared to make Gavi a large offer.
They could also be helped if they agree on terms with Luis Enrique over becoming the club's new manager.
The club currently have Frank Lampard on an interim basis, but it’s not thought that he will stay on past the end of the season.
It is believed that Gavi isn't happy with Barcelona for the way they have handled the contract situation - having been stripped of his No.6 shirt and reverted back to No.30.
Gavi's contract situation
Barcelona have not been able to register him as a first-team squad member, but so far seem resolute that the issue of his contract will be sorted out soon.
Gavi had signed a four-year contract extension back in September. The deal contained an £879million (€1 billion) release clause, but because La Liga didn’t register it, it will no longer be valid, meaning the teenage superstar would be able to leave on a free.
His current side did find a legal way around the issue - but the judgement, initially put in their favour, was anulled on March 25, making Gavi a youth player again.
