Romano reveals what Rashford ‘loves’ at Man Utd and gives key contract update
Fabrizio Romano has dropped an important update on the future of Manchester United striker Marcus Rashford.
The England international limped out of Saturday’s 2-0 victory over Everton with a groin problem, throwing the conclusion of Man Utd’s season into doubt as they may potentially have to cope without their leading scorer.
But while there is still injury concern over Rashford in the short term, Romano assures that the future of the 25-year-old remains at the club.
The transfer specialist had indicated prior to the weekend that the forward not happy with reports suggesting he was asking for an exorbitant salary at Man Utd, and he has reiterated that but has also confirmed that talks over a new contract will restart imminently, with Rashford thrilled to be working under Erik ten Hag.

“New deal talks will continue soon - Rashford loves working under ten Hag.”
Rashford, who has 27 goals for the season in 47 appearances, including 19 since the World Cup, has been linked with a potential move to PSG.

There are fears, however, that his season may have been ended at the weekend as he limped off against Everton with 10 minutes of the match remaining. He is poised to miss Thursday’s Europa League encounter with Sevilla and will undergo a scan imminently to confirm the extent of his problem.
Rashford had previously missed only two games for Man Utd across all competitions.
