Bellingham has FINALLY chosen his future club
Jude Bellingham’s future will be decided in the summer, with Real Madrid, Manchester City and Liverpool all having pursued the Borussia Dortmund midfielder for months. The 19-year-old, though, has now decided which club he wants a transfer to, according to Spanish paper AS.
Bellingham has been headlining football transfer news for months thanks to his blistering displays for club and country, with his performances for England at the 2022 World Cup blowing away any lingering doubts over his capability at operating at the top level.
Dortmund expect to fetch a transfer fee in excess of €100 million for the young star, meaning this is a huge operation for any of his suitors. Indeed, the transfer fee publicly put Liverpool off, while Manchester United and Chelsea, who may have been interested in a move, appear unwilling to fund such a deal given they have multiple positions they are trying to cover in the summer.
Bellingham, who has 11 goals and seven assists in 37 games this season, has decided to join Real Madrid, according to the Spanish source.

Bellingham deal far from done
AS reports that president Florentino Perez is willing to spend around €120m for the England international, which would make him the most expensive player in club history.
Of course, this will put a strain on the club’s finances as Los Blancos are presently redeveloping the Bernabeu and are not flush with cash.
Indeed, there is no guarantee that Borussia Dortmund will accept such an offer, particularly if Manchester City throw their financial weight at the transfer. This could derail Bellingham’s dream move.
Real Madrid have not yet spoken to Dortmund over the details of a transfer, but AS reports that there is a meeting scheduled in the days ahead for the clubs to discuss the Bellingham case as the next chapter of this transfer saga unfolds.
