'Ten Hag an overrated clown' - Man Utd manager slammed again by Ronaldo pal
Manchester United’s 3-0 loss to Sevilla in the quarter-finals of the Europa League saw them crash out of the competition 5-2 on aggregate, having scored the first two goals in the tie.
It was an inglorious performance from the Red Devils, who were entirely outplayed by the mid-table LaLiga outfit, despite gifting away goals due to poor individual errors.
Ten Hag’s honeymoon at Old Trafford, though, is clearly over, with the 7-0 loss at Liverpool last month still fresh in the memory of supporters

Man Utd set up their elimination last weekend as they allowed Sevilla to recover from 2-0 down in the first leg to salvage a 2-2 draw before the trip to Spain, where a double from Youssef En-Nesyri sandwiched an effort from Loic Bade. Mistakes from David de Gea and Harry Maguire, though, hastened the Premier League side’s demise.
Ten Hag critic Piers Morgan could not resist fiercely attacking the coach on Twitter after the game.
“Dear oh dear. What a humiliating shambles by United. And remember… this overrated clown Erik Ten Hag thought the smart play was to humiliate Cristiano Ronaldo and force him out of the club,” he wrote.

It is not the first time that Morgan has lashed out at Ten Hag. Even after the 7-0 defeat at Liverpool, Morgan was critical: "Has he still not left?"
Morgan, who is an Arsenal fan, has been a critic of Ten Hag’s regime since it became apparent that Ronaldo was not a centrepiece to the former Ajax boss’ plans.
It was Morgan who conducted the explosive interview with Ronaldo that ultimately saw him leave Man Utd by mutual consent. The Portuguese not only lashed out at Ten Hag, but also at the club in general.
