Arsenal have bottled being commemorated with bottles by YouTube star KSI.

The Gunners' loss to Nottingham Forest didn't just seal Manchester City's third straight Premier League title - and the fifth in the last six seasons - it also meant that KSI's plans to produce Arsenal-themed, limited-edition bottles of his PRIME hydration drink had to be shelved.

The YouTuber-turned-celebrity boxer announced on May 8, following Arsenal's convincing 2-0 win over Newcastle United, that his company would produce special bottles if the Gunners were to win the Premier League. But they have bottled it.

Of course, we jest about the bottling thing, but it must be acknowledged that this is a historic failure. To be sure, Arsenal deserve massive credit for even giving this seemingly unstoppable Manchester City team a good run for their money, but the fact of the matter is that Mikel Arteta's team completely and utterly crumbled when the heat was on.

Agonising failure for Arsenal

Injuries to William Saliba and Takehiro Tomiyasu in the Europa League did a number on the Gunners, and any team would struggle after losing two important defensive cogs, yet Arsenal have to grapple with the fact they let a considerable advantage over City simply slip away.

Arteta's team dropped points in six out of their last eight games, unable to muster more than draws with relegation-battlers West Ham and Southampton and now losing to Nottingham Forest, thanks to a Taiwo Awoniyi strike. If you can't beat these teams, you don't deserve to win the Premier League regardless of injuries.

Moreover, according to Opta, Arsenal were top of England's first division for 248 days this term, the most for a team that didn't end up winning the title. They really did bottle it.

As for Arsenal fan KSI, he simply quote-tweeted his original bottle proposal with "Never mind...Congrats Manchester City."
